Sharon Brooks is a Barbadian-born Australian producer, director and production manager working across film, television, documentary and unscripted production. As founder of SB Productions, she develops and produces original screen projects in Australia and internationally, with a particular interest in culturally rich, character-driven stories.

Sharon’s career began long before she moved behind the camera. With more than 35 years in the music and entertainment industry, she has worked professionally as a singer, performer, actor and vocal coach. Her screen acting credits include major Australian and international productions, giving her an understanding of production from both sides of the camera.

Today, Sharon brings those decades of creative and performance experience into her work as a producer and production manager, combining strong creative instincts with the practical organisation required to move a production from development through to the screen.
